Website Traffic Reporting
Generates a website usage report, automatically presenting information online via a Web browser, or e-mailing the results at specific time periods (daily, weekly, or monthly) to the website owner. ComTrack has the following features:
- Hits and Bytes - Generation of
"hit-count" and total bytes transmitted and received for a given
web site address are included in the report.
- Listing Options - Allows optional
listing of all hits, or excludes listing of hits of graphics files (.jpg
and .gif) in the reports. The detailed report includes a summary total
of graphic and non-graphic site hits for the specified time window.
- Specific Reports - Generates complete
reports per web site, as well as specific reports for "personal"
web sites (e.g., http://domain.com/~mailbox) and specific forks of a system
website (e.g., only http://domain.com/directory/.
- Time Windows - Generates reports for arbitrary time windows (hourly, daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly), at arbitrary times (daily, weekly etc.). For example, the ACME Widget Company receives a report at the end of each week that indicates the web site activity over the previous month.
